Separating his life with and without Nancy got a bit dicey. but well. thats to be expected once you understand the context and how inseparable they were. Most educational was the "cultural snapshot" of the others around them ... you really feel like you understand the society. culture all around them at the time.1 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy mike goddardexcellent read. I would highly recommend this book3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. A Great Belly Laugh. but semi biased.By C. DiazI recently purchased this book. It is filled with the whole story of the Sex Pistols. and Sid Vicious. It definately takes no shortcuts on certain incidences which are notorious. such as the whole truth about the record signing at AM. the truth about alot of the hyped up. now almost fictional stories that happened with Sid and the Sex Pistols. My only beef is that there are very few pictures. and it is quite obvious that the author was very biased about Nancy. as have many other people. Nancy Spungeon was a genius child with mental problems starting at birth. Yes. she was very outrageous. she reminds myself of me at the same age. yet I was fortunate to not be cursed with schizophrenia. and fed drugs since early childhood. Its too bad that it took so long for the doctors to figure out what was wrong with that poor girl before it was too late. She craved attention. would get it however she could. whatever it took. but people have seemed to have left out the good parts about Nancy. Sid loved Nancy. He loved her to death. literally.I could go on forever. but the short of this book. is that it is a very great read. very funny at many points. I literally laughed out loud. although it takes a sort of gallows humor to do this. and was not able to put the book down. I definatley recommend this book to everyone. I just wish there were more pictures. and less rhetoric. But all in all. this is a good book. you wont be able to put it down.
