Great handbook for music directors!By Leah CoonI am only 1/3 of the way into the book; and I already love it as I prepare for my first "real" music directing gig this winter. The writing is engaging with a real voice behind it (very readable); and the advice and guidelines clearly come from deep experience. My favorite part about the advice given in the book so far is that it is realistic and practical--the author acknowledges the quirks (and offers excellent advice for dealing with those quirks!) that come from working in the non-professional theater world of high school; college; and community theater productions. Highly recommend!!
