Just not enough picsBy RJM1138A great book for the deepest rooted Trek Fan whose fascinated by the creativity it all sprouted from. I really wish the photos were larger and there were more of them. especially the work of Matt Jeffries. But its a reader. not a coffee table art book. I just wish there was one like that too. The E book version doesnt offer anything more or anything more attractive that the regular book (no hi-res zoomable) photos or highlights. Its exactly as if the paper book had been scanned page by page. Nothing wrong with that. I had just hoped for a little more to see. But it is a quality item an well worth the money.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Shipping could be better. but Book is fantasticBy JanneeMy title says this because I was kind of peeved at the delivery speed of which it took for this book to arrive. I mean two weeks after ordering? Kind of glad it didnt get confused with my Christmas deliveries. That being said. this book is of amazing quality for such a low. low price. The book is in such great condition that this book could have still been sold for very near close its initial price. And the CONTENT. oh wow. Compared to the entire history of Star Trek fan culture. I am but a babe. But I have seen all the movies and TOS through Voyager and coincidentally this book covers all that in terms of the art. Such lovely pictures and stories behind them. I didnt think something like this could be so informative. Any fan of Star Trek would be happy with this book. I know I am :D0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The Art of Star Trek by Judith Reeves-StevensBy Maleczki Mikloacute;sneacute;I have chosen and ordered this book for my grown-up son who has ever liked to watch the series and films Star Trek from boyhood on. He enjoys this book enormously. It is rather an album printed on fine. good quality paper with lots and lots of useful information. One can learn every technical detail. the development of the costumes. the artists. the stories. etc. It is very enjoyable to turn the bookss pages and remember former favourate details of the series. The writer. Judith Reeves-Stevens did very good work and collected practically everything which might be of interest for a Star Trek fan. I am glad I ordered this book and my son is satisfied with it.
