It also contains material on the English AC movement. which preceded it. Mostly what one hears of today is the Mission style. and it was fascinating to learn of the many other versions. too. I dont really care for the AC revival stuff going on nowadays. The modern homes dont quite "fit" with the period AC furniture and decorations. It reminds me of a relative of mine. who lives in a modern. executive-style McMansion--filled to the brim with Victorian antiques. Clash. clash. clash!
