Biggest complaint for me is that its hard to keep the book open when youre trying to learn a new song. That and the fact that some of the songs are on more than one page. Also there is a lot left to your imagination when it comes to some of the vamping in the middle. It just says do an instrumental. If I could do that without some kind of guideline I wouldnt need a book. All in all though its good for the price and have enough good stuff to make it worthwhile.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. cute and necessary bookBy Gerry SaddlerThis is a small version of the blues. There are nice songs here and well worth the price to own. A little hard to hold open the pages as this book is small. But it packs a solid blues punch. Well worth your time and the cost is negligible. Have fun with this one.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Bluesy songs would be better description.By Michael ElphickThis collection is good value for the price. However. not all of the songs are twelve-bar blues. There are also some bluesy 32-bar songs. Some classic blues songs are missing (e.g. Backwater Blues). The professional (open flat) binding is handy. but the margin isnt wide enough for that type of binding to work well. So the outer edges of some songs are clipped off or difficult to read.
