When you take a stroll around this charming place your imagination can picture the life led there. I think everyone who has or wishes to visit the Cape would like this book.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The Man Knows The Town.By CMBeachgirlI saw a copy of this book at a co-workers house and had to have my own copy..We both live and work in town giving tours. This is the first book Ive found to describe the lives not only of summer folks but also the residents of this lively little town.I dont know the author personally but Ive heard his wonderful stories about daily life in the victorian age. This book is tight and concise;unlike a couple recent tomes about Cape May that ramble and jump eras.Mr Heinly is an intelligent writer;he has gathered his facts and presented them very well.I own many Cape May books and was very impressed with this one.If you are new to the charms of this town;and want to know more-look no further than this one.
