It appears to be a huge improvement based on reader reviews of the former. This is one of the source books referenced for those taking the CDT exam through CSI. which is the primary reason I purchased it. I would now have to say that it is one of the best. well-written resource references for architects and I am glad to have had the chance to add it to my reference collection. It also comes with a CD version of the book. which is handy if you need to print off copies of specific chapters. Those who have 5 or more years experience in the construction industry would benefit most from this book. It really requires one to have some reference point when reading the book otherwise. it may feel like a lot of facts organized around topics that the reader might not necessarily be familiar with. I am planning on purchasing the rest of the books in this series. Good job CSI on the improvements in this edition! Well worth the cost.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Excellent ResourceBy Sako KhachikianThe soft-cover book arrived well packaged and in good condition. It does not come with a CD-ROM. however. it does include a code inside the back cover (you need to scratch the label like a lottery ticket to see it) that allows you access to download a full version of the book in PDF format. as well as other useful PDF articles related to the book. The PDF version of the book includes the purchasers name and email in the footer to discourage sharing. The book itself is a well-organized resource for anyone in the construction industry…useful whether you are studying for the CSI exams or not.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
