5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. These are George GsBy L. Huntown originally published piano variations on 18 of his original songs; that have gone in and out of print for decades. They are wonderful! These are NOT easy to play well; they are for an advanced-level pianist. They are Beautiful/Brilliant! There is an long interesting introduction written by George himself in the 1930s about the variations; and also a nice bio about him and his brother. There are some good recordings available by able pianists; one by George himself!; of these variations. Check them out! One more thing - there is no mention of a Tony Esposito in this book; so; I dont get that (its advertised on here that hes the editor of this book). This is just pure; unadulterated George Gershwin.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
