From a former Cochran citizenBy VeeblefetzerMy main quibble with this book is the overabundance of photographs of houses and school; simply page after page. I wish that the author had been able to provide more photos of the town citizens and various historic events in Bleckley Countys history; rather than seeming to focus on architecture.A side note: Im guessing that if you found this particular listing; then you may be interested in "The Cochran Community: Development; Community; and Challenge"; a history written by B.K. Loftin. Dr. Loftin taught at Middle Ga. College for many years.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. History for the new folks!By DexterSmall city in the middle of Georgia. My friend just moved here last year; he lived reading about the streets and the popular names related to the history of the county. Great fun!
