It has very detailed discussion of the real events behind the scenes in world war two. Seeing the real documents used to start the Final Soution and the words of various leaders as they went through the war brought a new level to studyign history. That is. you saw how things happened. not just heard some one tell you what happened. Author is good at personalizing grteat events for the reader. I also appreciated the detailed Endnote reference list that had hot links to hundreds of sites where the documents adn events were enhanced. This woudl be a good book for college level 20th century history.
