Hollywood has interesting HistoryBy CustomerFills in a lot of missing facts about things you have heard about.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Very insightful look into organized crime!By bonfireblondieThis author sure did his research. Tons of it. Wow. talk about six degrees of separation.... of crime. that is. I knew that politics and the mob might be connected. but who knew how much? And throw in Hollywood. What a mix. When I was a kid a friend told me his father said the Mafia owns the gum machines. I didnt understand what that meant at the time.I cant say I was naive. but I now realize how much deeper all the corruption goes. I knew about the Kennedys but Ronald Reagans administration connected to crooks? Say it aint so! And poor Marilyn Monroe. Frank was not a nice guy. Heck. all of Hollywood was and is under the crime thumb. The mob and movie stars. Who to trust anymore?Money and crime go together and even though it isnt the strong arm gangster types. its still crime. white collar criminal enterprise I guess youd call it. Its a bit dismaying. More crime corruption than I knew about. Nothing but crooks. Dont these people have a conscience. oh yeah. its only business. isnt it? Very insightful and educating read! Highly recommended.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
