Good but isnt what I expectedBy AngelicaFrom the bio and all the hype about the book; I expected this to be almost like an inside look into zayns journal through out the past few years; or him giving his 100% unfiltered thoughts on the situations he has faced; and thats not what this is at all. Its mostly pictures of zayn with little blurbs of "Im finally in control" and a little background of a few select songs. Its a decent book for what it is but its not at all what was expected.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Lovely Read and Great PurchaseBy Alexandra JonesZayn by Zayn is a beautiful book filled with stunning pictures and an engaging narrative. As a fan of Zayn; I was automatically interested in everything he had to say; especially about his music making process. However; I think even non-fans will enjoy his take on things. He subverts a lot of rumors and myths the media has perpetuated about him and defines himself on his own terms. In addition to talking about his time in One Direction; he also talks about growing up; coming into his own; and dealing with serious issues like anxiety. Its not a fluff piece ghost written by some random person. Zayn writes how he speaks and he writes from the heart. All of that makes this book a worthwhile purchase and a good way to spend a few hours one afternoon.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great book.By Fernando. You really have to read his story to understand wheres hes at in life from where hes coming from. Its a great read and I truly respect that he chooses to be a performer even though hes an anxious shy person. Props to him because that is a nerve racking thing to sing in front of thousands.
