BRIEFBy Kindle CustomerDid not expect much in eighty pages and was right. These are not packed pages and the illustrations are few and far between. But a more expensive book by the iconic designer.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Waste of moneyBy Helpful HannahA total waste of money. It was barely about Edith Head and when I was younger. I read the same named book that was actually written by Ms. Head. Guess Ill have to keep looking for that book. This one just told a person. in general terms. what to wear when. I may throw it away. Stupid.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Its Edith Head!By Tamara M. EvansThe legendary Hollywood Costume Designer so great that she won an Ocsar for the work of Hubert Givenchy on the movie Funny Face starring Audrey Hephburn and a deleciously beautiful wardrobe. (also the beginning of the actress role as muse and her life long friendship with the designer) Heads contract with the studio stated she was the Head Designer for all costuming for the studio and thus would recieve all awards as well as film credits. She was and still is a boss. Respected for her style and talent in insuring Hollywoods position as trend setting and feared for her ability to make or break a stars career. So her publishings are still important and relavent today. I for wish more so called stylish persons respected the rules of Ms. Head. I would enjoy the red carpet so much more.
