While I havent yet used the book extensively; it appears as though this is a great collection of songs transcribed the way that Elton originally played them when recorded. That is; his piano is accompaniment whereas he sings the melody. Those buying this book should be aware that the melody will have to be sung. Otherwise; these songs can be found in other collections where the piano plays the melody.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Fun bookBy M. WatsonGreat book with some deeper album cuts than the other note for note elton book. If youre looking for more hits; buy that one. This one has some real gems that are fun to play like Indian sunset; amoreena; and postcards from Richard Nixon. Highly recommended!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
