A Tragedy of IdentityBy John MatlockThis new play by Mr. Barker is based around the fence that a country has erected around its border that is nominally to keep outsiders out. But the fence is violated by both the outsiders and by the elite of the country itself.What Mr. Baker does is to expose the public crisis through the personal agony of the individual characters. Both the leading character and the kingdom itself hold deep secrets that change/control the lives.
