It is not a good resource for todays homes nor is it inspirational as most element are not practical and very medieval. I dont know what you would rightly call this book. It was an odd mixture of Indian; Mexican; African; stone age; western and modern design. The author/designer of this book admits that he does not listen to his clients design requests; but chooses what he wants instead. This book was an eclectic mishmash of conflicting designs and Im not sure it should have been labeled old world.
