The book is lively; entertaining; and fun to read. Everyones Favorite Gal with a Quip Captured Beautifully HereBy Wesley HyattWhether you know her from TV as Our Miss Brooks or one of The Mothers-in-Law; or movies ranging from Stage Door (where she wore a cat around her neck) to Grease (as the principal who told us all; "If you cant be an athlete; be an athletic supporter"); chances are you know and adore Eve Arden as an actress. Here David C. Tucker does another stellar job of capturing the career and life story of a woman deserving of this excellent biography. He gives expert; opinionated commentary on her movies; provides interesting information about her TV work; and even covers the debacle of her involvement in The Moose Murders; the notorious Broadway bomb in the early 1980s. Its a book that is as fun and entertaining as watching Eve perform. Highly recommended.
