What could go wrong?By Erin H.Four women; who dont really know each other at all; rent an Italian castle together. What could go wrong? Not too much actually. This book was interesting and enjoyable. At first you can kind of pick out different kinds of travelers/vacationers. The host/bossy/incharge one. The chill one. The active one. The one that just wants to be left alone. These women were all having some sort issue with their life in London. Husband problems. Loneliness. Not being left alone. Shallow relationships. And this "heavenly" Italian castle helps them to find themselves; solve their issues and make new friends. Its not really a magical/enchanted book as the title might allude to. Though; to me; it seems like what a holiday should feel like. Relaxing. Beautiful scenery. A time to think and get away from your problems. A time by yourself; with family; with friends or all of the above. A good vacation book!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Just doesnt read wellBy Judy L.. PaukertDifficult sentence construction that may be aimed to make it sound more British makes it difficult to read. Very clumsy. I cannot recommend this book. The development of characters is lacking in some respects also. However; the sentence construction makes it a hard read. Perhaps fans of British dramas will look over it. Even after living in England for five years I found it contrived.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. This is a sweet story of people changing in a particularly beautiful environmentBy J.D. C.This is a sweet story of people changing in a particularly beautiful environment. Four women who are strangers share expenses in order to afford a holiday in Italy. Conflicts occur due to the personalities of the women; two of whom are rather naive and two who are worldy; and then the husbands decide to visit! By the end of the book; the worldly are humble and the naive are wise.
