BahiruI purchased this book for a friend who checked it out from our local library. He didnt want to return it because it said; "This is the best book Ive ever read. I really want to keep it!" When I gave the book to him; he was surprised and overcome with the same emotion he had originally expressed. Im glad that young men are able to experience and appreciate the history and realities of logging in rural California through this book.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Historical resourceBy avid birder"Logging in Plumas County" has wonderful; old photographs; many of which are available only in this book; as they are in private collections. We are fortunate that the authors had access to these gems. This book is a great resource for anyone; who is interested in the history of logging or the timber industry.
