But Unnecessary to BuyBy Morgan LeighI think that Julia Cameron. after publishing "The Artists Way." has written the same thing over and over. This is yet another example. There are no new thoughts here for the artist/writer/painter. etc.. to consider. I bought it because I read it years ago and liked some of her essays. She tends to be cliche in her writing though and this gets tedious about half way through the book. There are some worthwhile exercises if one suffers from lack of self worth and doubt. That said. Cameron built Artists Way on the shoulders of AAs 12-step program and continues with some of those themes in this book. There is nothing original here and I would not recommend investing money in it. Stay with the original and work with that.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Write from where. when. and who you areBy H. M. BehrensReflective essays to encourage ones own reflected writing. Cameron faces the isolation. and drudgery that can shadow the writers life by directly entering into the space and feelings of each challenge. She encourages others to write through with thoughtful exercises between each essay.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. cant go wrong!By Kim B.empowering
