My kids love science and I try to read to them during the sporting events instead of them playing video games. The books in this series have wonderful pictures along with little facts that go along with them. The words are easy for readers that have been reading for a couple of years but if your child is too young for that this book is great to read to them! The book is written in plan terms that kids can understand. Itrsquo;s a great way to introduce science facts to kids. Each book in this series introduced one particular aspect of science and portrays it in a way that makes kids want to learn more. I plan on recommending this series for the pre-K teacher at my sonsrsquo; school who loves to introduce the kids to science.This book is great for young ones who love animals and learning about them. It starts out by explaining what venom is and how it is used. The pictures are very detailed and close up. You canrsquo;t miss any details on these animals. I have to admit they creeped me out a bit; but my kids thought they were the coolest things. We spent time together reading this book and talking about different animals we knew where we lived that would fit in this category. My kids got a kick out of my shuttering ever time we turned the page. This is a good book and I would recommend this to anyone whorsquo;s kids are animal lovers ; or love the creepy crawlies.I liked the fact that this book is available in digital form. As a teacher of elementary students; I would love to incorporate this ebook into a small group activity where I present a main idea or topic to the whole class and then they break up in small groups and discover more material on their own. It is the perfect age group to let them use a kindle to explore and what a better way to do so than with this ebook!
