The Tragedy of Coriolanus

[PDF] The Tragedy of Coriolanus by William; 1564-1616 Shakespeare at Arts-Photography

Description

Canon in D is the most famous piece of music by Johann Pachelbel; written in or around 1680 as a piece of chamber music for three violins and basso continuo. Willard A. Palmers faithful setting is for the late intermediate pianist. Tasteful use of arpeggios; rolled chords; and dynamics brings out a rich; sonorous sound that evokes the original string arrangement. This is one of Alfreds top-selling piano arrangements of this famous piece and is perfect for weddings; recitals; or any other special occasion.

It is simply the text. no additions. with a biography of Shakespeare tacked onto the end. Also. in the "List of Works" included with the biography. it lists all the "Histories" as "Comedies".Im trying to study this play. and this text was a complete waste of time. Im about to start searching again for an ANNOTATED copy of Coriolanus.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Shakespeares greatBy lizzb92I love Shakespeare and this one is great. not one of my top loves but is a great easy one to read.1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Bold proud warriorBy Mary E. SibleyCoriolanus does not want to seek votes just because he was wounded fighting for his country. Men agreed Coriolanus is too noble for this world. His nature mars his fortune. He has an angry tongue. Coriolanus is told he is too absolute. He is to be banished. Some of the officials consider him a traitor. When Coriolanus dies saving Rome. he dies a victim of pride. This Shakespearean drama is surprisingly unbright. dull. Since it is Shakespeare. it is still better than almost anything else.
