My parents were included with a friend Gene Marques who took us to Methodist Church suppers. He had three daughters my family had three girls too. Dad Gene worked together at Mare Island. So; wanted to see if he was included. However; I bought it as a part of research and would have liked to see some facts with the captions. Other than that; it was great; I came from vallejo and feel proud that theres a strong filipino community from vallejo and that its acknowledged in this book. A trip down memory laneBy Eddie S. LastraReading this book brought back a lot of fun memories of growing up in Vallejo in the 60s and 70s. Appreciate all the efforts that were put into this book.
