Has a lot of different facial features for you to practice on as well as different types of chilis to work on whether its human or other but I do have my own thought or rather my own comment of the "furry" aspect of the book. From what I can tell there more human like than anthropomorphic animals; Id say there more neko than anything else just different colored skin. This book doesnt exactly show you the basic beginning sketch. If you are good at copying without sketching then I highly recommend this book. It worked great for me. I draw mostly on my ipad.
