The album consists of four compact discs; each of its eight songs consists of four stereo tracks; one from each CD.In this book; Mark Richardson; who is also Managing Editor for Pitchfork; explains thoroughly the history of The Flaming Lips and the journey that led up to recording Zaireeka. Lips frontman Wayne Coyne provides interesting tidbits as well making this an exceptional entry into the 33 1/3 series.
