Actually a pretty quick read as well since the chapters on each model stand alone--no need to read the chapters on other models than what you have as the similar information is repeated in each. A lot of what I read applies to the Yongnuo radio triggers I decided to use instead of the Nikon infrared system as well.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Really Glad I Got this Book!By Stan57Excellent. Covers Background; features a Quick Start Guide; Flash Theory and then goes into the specifics of the various Nikon Speedlights. Plenty of pictures showing the various effects. (Unfortunaterly I had a lot of misperceptions about flash photography prior to reading this.) The Capability of the Nikon Creative Lighting System is incredible; but the photographer must understand it to harness it for his or her benefit.6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. This is BY FAR the best book on this subjectBy gary d nicholsI received this book yesterday. Over the past couple of years I have bought and read two other books on the Nikon CLS system. This is BY FAR the best book on this subject. I learned more in the first hour or so with this book then anything else I have read. Everything is explained in a concise and easy to understand way ; very well done!!!
