Ive tried for years to play jazz fake books and was pretty intimidated by the chords. Now using the "shell chords" - 3 note chords - Im able to play the songs out of the fake books. Three-note voicings book - helps you see the 2-5-1 progression and just helps over all with understanding how the chrods fit together in the progression.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
