Francisco de Goya was the most potent and creative Spanish artist of his time. Over the course of his long career; Goya moved from cheerful and optimistic to totally pessimistic and searching in his paintings; drawings; etchings; and frescoes. He completed some 500 oil paintings and murals; about 300 etchings and lithographs; and many hundreds of drawings. He was exceptionally versatile and his work expresses a very wide range of emotion. His technical freedom and originality likewise are remarkable. In technique as in content; Goya challenged the rules of art; preferring a freer style of painting and drawing; a unique figural language; and a brilliant economy of means. In his own day he was chiefly celebrated for his portraits; of which he painted more than 200; but his fame now rests equally on his other work.

Fascinating encouraging for to all readersBy Up and UpSaara encourages each of us with her story on dance. She is completely centered in God in worship and tells about her journey--the ups and downs; the surprises and difficulties. Her call for the church to embrace movement is one I resonate with. Saara has proven God faithful over and over. She is more than optimistic in life and ministry-- I feel she pulls down on the heavenly atmosphere of praise and worship of Jesus; and she has shown that it works and gives great examples! Her language is beautifully simple yet issues; in my opinion; a foretaste of heaven and even a strong challenge -- to meet Jesus on his big dance floor.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Coming from a place where I danced often and then stopped; this book inspires me to start dancing again. In my heart I always desired to create a dance group but just didnt know how; but Saara Taina gave wise tips for me to move forward in the leading of what I call a powerful ministry of worship! Thank you Saara Taina for you obedience to the father and writing this book its been a great help.
