Each image is accompanied by a contextualizing or reflective comment by the photographer.James Crnkovich holds a bachelors degree from the University ofMinnesota in Photo-journalism. He has been a freelance photographerfor over thirty years and has worked on the Iron Range CommunityDocumentation Project and more recently on a project with his friendBob Mielke to document the culture and people surrounding Americannuclear weaponry.
