A lot like her other book (Generation T - 108 ways to transform a T-shirt) but with better projects. I make most of my two daughters clothing so I appreciate fun sewing ideas. My first sewing book was Threads for Heads (I have forgotten the authors name over the years) and was very similar in style to this book. I would love to see this author do a book of simple skirts with tons of applique ideas and tips. Applique inspiration is my current obsession; but the quilting books are kinda bland. Some stained glass patterns can be cute/crazy for appliques too. I made a lot of alterations to project #22 (babydoll dress) and they are amazingly adorable on the little ones. Hint to readers - raise the waistline higher.Thank you Megan Nicolay for putting your time and effort into these. Or if you are the super artsy person. For the run of the mill every day person; the ideas presented are not ones that you would wear. I ended up gifting the books (I bought both titles for t-shirt transformation) to a friend who loves them. I guess I really depends on taste. Doesnt matter much with this bookBy ClovembSo many great ideas and easy to follow directions. Good for a novice or expert because there are a ton of styles to choose from. Colors and vibrant.
