Raccoglie le esperienze di viaggio di un ingegnere che vive nellrsquo;hinterland milanese e che quotidianamente si reca con il treno nel capoluogo lombardo per lavoro.Il pendolare egrave; spesso osservatore; sognatore; ma anche vittima di tutte le contraddizioni che affliggono chi utilizza le ferrovie; tra odori cattivi; ritardi; piccole crudeltagrave;; in quella ldquo;guerra fra poverirdquo; che combattono tante (troppe!) persone.Il viaggio diventa una metafora della vita; raccontata con ironia e con un pizzico di commozione.Un libro umoristico; ma anche colmo di quella poesia che solo un sorriso sa dare; una lettura da godere magari ldquo;scomodamenterdquo; seduti sul sedile di un treno!

This particular book covers a city close to my own home; Wheeling; WV; and does a great job covering it. I initially bought this book for my brother-in-law for his birthday; but after reading through the book myself knew I had to order my own copy!
