I couldnt tell if they were real rock stars or simply one hit wonder Australian bands. It needed names and there werent any. The book was more about teenagers engaging in sex and alcohol. If you love Duran Duran; INXS or are into eighties music you will love it too. It is hilarious and shocking; sometimes its sad. It has a good message about self esteem. I would definatley recommend this book to men and women...(but not for kids this one is a bit graphic in places).
