It presents the idea of using triad pair patterns in a clear and simple way that allows for some sophisticated new additions to ones solos. It also gives one pause with regard to applying this thinking to other scales and modes (different from the ones presented in the book). Good Overview of a Great SoundBy J. StocksTriads and triad pairs are a great way to deal with both simple and complex harmony. Mr Campbells book is a great overview of how to extract triad pairs from common scales and use them over different harmonic settings. The book features a range of triad pairs. some very inside and some much spicier sounding. Very disappointed.By Steve B.The concept could of been present in a couple pages. then he fills the rest of the book with very basic exercise he applies over and over to different triad pairs of different interval spacing. In fact in the book he says for more than basic examples figure them out yourself. Very disappointed.
