Johnson"Art of the Cross" was a decent book; it showed the cross in a multiple of different art forms all within the Southwest genre. It was interesting; but not outstanding. I would have liked to see the crosses used more as a religous/decorative aspect in a room rather than in isolation. Most of the photos were in isolation not within a broader theme or venette. Not one of Mary Emmerlings best decorating books; but you can tell she has a special affection for the cross.A lot of pretty photos; not many decorating ideas.
