Meaning the melody is indicated as numbers for fret and string to be played. Anyone with at least 4 months of guitar practice will likely enjoy; and be offered a little growth challenge.I found of the 58 songs there were 20 I really liked and thatrsquo;s a pretty good return for these types of song books. About 20 songs within to me are just fillers; but then again Irsquo;m sure someone will recognize the ones I never heard of. Check the list of songs before buying to see if enough songs are to your liking.I Like that many songs donrsquo;t require flipping the page to play the whole song (however many do). I also like the simple double and triple string cords that are inserted into the melody to enhance the sound of play.Excellent value for me as a beginner; recommended.5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. A great Christmas songbook!By Fred KingThis is a compilation of 58 favorite Christmas holiday songs for guitar in notation and tab. The format is lead sheet; but simple and chordal intervals and other embellishments are included where the original songwriter included them. This gives players of all levels something to work with. This is a really great songbook at a great price.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not the songs that I would like to have hadBy Whisky SmugglerNot the songs that I would like to have had; but a couple of songs I wanted and this book provided those. Not the actual scores; but close enough to do an adequate job.
