Besides that; it includes excellent tab for all his great songs; including capo and alternate tunings; which is absolutely necessary for learning Gordon Lightfoots stuff. You can also just strum the chords and sing around a campfire; or you can read the tab and figure out his fingerpicking patterns; etc. A very good book for beginners to advanced players.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I bought this book because I was learning Early Morning Rain; and I hoped to get some of the lead picking. Gordon plays the song in drop D tuning; capo on the 3rd fret; and in the key of D.
