This book; created in conjunction with the Sandwich Historical Society; focuses on Sandwich; DeKalb County; Illinois. The book has seven chapters; which are entitled: Places of Worship and Places of Learning; Wartime; Community Events; Trains and Industry; Businesses; Home; Family; and Leisure Time; and Around Town.The book itself is crammed full of great black-and-white pictures; and Ms. Hardekopfrsquo;s captions are very well written. I think that this is a great book and a great resource for anyone doing genealogical or historical research in Sandwich.
