I am reviewing several of the electronic copies of these books and so some of my reviews may sound redundant. Each will have details about the coloring pages themselves but the general idea of the books will probably sound similar. Anyways.The idea behind a digital coloring book is a little strange considering you can not color it. It also is not the best way to know if you want to buy the physical copy. There are questions that can not be answered by the digital copy. Those questions being. what kind of quality are the pages? Is the back of each page blank? The reason this is important is because if there is a design on both sides of a page than the color can bleed through depending on your medium or it can rub off on the next picture. I have also seen comments where you could not print off the pictures. From what I can see that is TECHNICALLY correct as I do not see a print button. If you have some way to take a "screen cap" though or if you have a snipping tool on your computer than you can just take a shot of the image and print it. That is what I am doing when I have the time. Since quality of pages and such is not a factor I am reviewing these books solely off of the quality of the images. Moving onFirst off there is a section at the beginning of this that I find unnecessary. It talks about the things that adult coloring books are good for. The thing here though is that its kind of a waste of paper. because if you are buying these kinds of coloring books you are already aware. There is also an ad for signing up for a club and you will get free pages.Once again I am very conflicted on one of these coloring books. The other one I was conflicted on was the forest animals one. With this owl book I do like the pictures. There is a variety between complex and basic. so you have that option if you really dont feel like the undertaking of a really complicated picture. However...some of the pictures we weird. Like really weird. There are two that dont even begin to look like owls to me. There is one where the owl has dream catchers for eyes. Then something that I find pretty annoying is that side by side you have the same owl just in a different pose. Thats a bit irritating for me. Then. once again. The image on the front is no where to be found inside the book. However again. I do like a number of the images. At the price of $6.92 I could not recommend this book though just because it only has 14 coloring pages. I have seen books that are cheaper with more. If it is free or just a few bucks (max $5). obviously I do not know the sellers plans. than I would say go for it. This does not lower the rating for me though just because I am rating based off of the artwork and the artwork is nice.I recieved this product at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Its meant to trick you into signing up for a mailing list where content farms and desperate self-published authors hock their mediocre books in the hopes youll increase their sale rankings through free purchases and reviews. Its super scammy and an insult to buyers.As with every other ebook Ive reviewed from this publisher. the text was outsourced to a content farm or freelancer who writes an essay-style intro about the topic. similar to what your 4th grader would write for Common Core. They use the exact same text in every one of their coloring books. The art they use is clipart. stock photos. and pieces they stole from other artists--none of which are ever credited. Ive included samples of the coloring cutouts included in this "preview" which show that the owls are obviously from multiple sources (I reverse image searched to find them) and are of varying image quality.Since the link to the coloring pages email list is broken. theres no way to tell if the full resolution images are any better quality. but the included images are low quality. While the coloring page link was suspended by the ISP (very telling). the link to the "I Just Read It" book club will in fact sign you up to receive even more discounted. poor-quality books from content farms and desperate authors. Thats the goal of these scammy publishers: they create mediocre content to get you to sign up for more mediocre content which they use to sell their mailing list services to mediocre authors or other content farms. The actual content they produce is garbage. and its completely unrelated to the book you found the link in.***** AS OF THIS WRITING. When I was asked to review this kindle ebook in exchange for an honest. unbiased review. I got super excited. So I agreed to do it or 18 adult coloring books in the series. There are only pages available for SIX different books... and none of them were for the books I REALLY liked. Also. I did not find DOZENS of illustrations. Take it for what it is. though. free coloring sheets and information about the benefits of adult coloring relating to therapy.I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I take my reviews seriously and do not give ANY products great reviews unless I feel that they have honestly earned them. As a consumer.
