LaRueIn the late 90s and early 2000s; I was building green homes in Cleveland and conducting greenbuilding seminars for builders; contractors and homeowners. When I discovered E.O.Wilsons concept of biophilia I was so taken by its broad implications that I began each seminar series with a discussion of the notion. How I could have enriched my seminars if I had a copy of Tim Beatleys book! To know that you are part of a much larger movement that respects the natural world in so many imaginative ways and that the movement is worldwide is a true inspiration. Tim has offered us a gift that is special for those of us who have been trying to be faithful to the earth; but is an invitation to young people everywhere to expand the wonderful horizon he has revealed. Makes me wish I was 18 again instead of 80!!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Where I want to liveBy Reading RooA truly important piece of work if we are going to have cities where people not only want to live and to read books; but be happy to do so. It covers a lot of the planet and is hopeful and technically infromed. Hope a few of the worlds city politicians read it!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
