Book was interesting and well written. Three CDs included were easy to find what you were looking for. Website was sort of difficult to navigate.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Decent book. but not in good conditionBy DLThis book contains a pretty good overview of world music in both musical and cultural contexts. My only complaint about the content of the book is that if you dont have time to read an entire chapter. you will not be able to use the summary at the end of the chapter to get a basic understanding of it. The summaries are minimal.My biggest complaint is about the condition of the book. I bought it used from a third party seller who listed it in good condition when it clearly was not. In addition to excessive highlighting throughout the book. it appears as though a child got ahold of the highlighter and did extensive work himself.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
