Dr. Linder offers a fascinating discussion of pertinent information regarding details of the scene depicted. commentary on the verbiage that accompanies each image. and contextual information that prompted the creation of the poster. This book can appeal to the scholar as well as to the casual reader with an interest in history and in one of the major events to shape the lives of the worlds people in the years that followed. The reproductions of the poster are vibrant. and the accompanying narratives had be going back time and time again to study the posters even more. I learned a lot about that war that I never knew. She is doing one on World War 2 and I cant wait to get it when its available.
