Plus Im older now. have a son of my own. and am an EMT. So when my wife delivered our son - I got to do the delivery and cord-cutting...BASICALLY - I thought I had alot of baby experience. Until I read this book!! Wow...this book turns your world around as far as how you view newborns. It answers that ever-present and nerve-wracking question each new parent faces; that of - IF. and how. babies communicate w/ us! The personal experiences of the authors as Drs. in Pediatrics are invaluable. Just reading about the many visual and audible clues that babies constantly send out to their parents is priceless information. I have sent out at least a dozen of these books to friends and family members. and everyone of them have been thrilled.
