I love this book!!!!By Vargas[[VIDEOID:moIDFG7K8M43RF]]This little handbook is really for any Design-minded artisan or design professional. As an illustrator; I pulled a lot of great insight into designing form the book. The illustrations and images are brilliant. If you have not yet seen Dougs website check it out ( after you buy the book )! :) howtoarchitect.com.Sincerely if you are serious about your art and design work -- then you must have this book as a resource in your library. And at like $10 - its crazy not to have it!! How can you beat that price! How to Architect1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. wonderful bookBy Addie D-JHow To Architect is an enjoyable read for anyone interested in architecture; and also an uplifting and helpful read for anyone on the path to pursuing this field. This is a book all design students should read early-on. How To Architect provides a realistic account on both architecture schooling and architecture as a profession. I am going to graduate school next year and found this book to do a wonderful job of identifying the potentially disjointed journey of architecture; while simultaneously reaffirming the interests of those in this path... It would be impossible for those truly interested to not fly through this with pleasure. Most of all; I found the book to be refreshingly relatable. Mr.Patt did a fantastic job of giving an overview of topics and figures- enough to provoke thought for those familiar with them; and to properly introduce them to those unfamiliar. Great book for all!1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Bla; bla; blaBy MartinmannenVery much just "bla; bla; bla" as the author seemingly tries to write on every letter of the alphabet (one chapter per letter).I love Patts stuff on the Internet; though not so much this book.
